NEW YORK, March 3, 2015 – Travelzoo Inc. (NASDAQ: TZOO), a global Internet media company, today reported double-digit increases in February website and mobile searches for warm-weather destinations compared with the same period last year.

"Two unusually harsh winters back-to-back have people searching for a sunny getaway more than ever," said Gabe Saglie, senior editor for Travelzoo.

The following destinations saw the largest increases in desktop and mobile searches on Travelzoo’s U.S. website (February 2015 compared with February 2014):

  • Punta Cana +46%
  • Miami +42%
  • Orlando +35%
  • Montego Bay +30%
  • Riviera Maya +23%
