Lara Barlow is General Manager, Canada and a member of the Board of Directors for Travelzoo (Canada) Inc.
Lara received her international MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto and has spent over 9 years in leadership positions at Travelzoo. Prior to her time at Travelzoo Lara spent 10 years at the Toronto Star, where she worked closely with the travel, entertainment, packaged goods and special sections.
Lara has appeared on several highly-rated radio and television programs and has been quoted in many online publications and blogs talking about up-and-coming destinations and which will represent great value for Canadians in the year(s) to come, as well as other insights and travel trends taken from studies conducted by Travelzoo.
Lara is a patriotic Canadian and the first in her family to be born in Canada to a Spanish mother and English father. Lara has travelled to over 30 countries to visit family, for work, or to just explore, but some of her favorite spots are Turkey, India, Buenos Aires, Spain and, of course, Newfoundland and Labrador (Canada).

Head of Publishing Susan Catto joined the Travelzoo team in 2016. Prior, Susan was Deputy Editor of Hello! Canada magazine and was a regular contributor to the Travel section of the New York Times (including the Practical Traveler column) and the business travel blog of the Economist. She is an award-winner writer whose work has been published in anthologies including The New York Times: 36 Hours USA & Canada (Taschen) and Making Connections: Mother-Daughter Travel Adventures (Adventura).
Susan has lived in New York City and the UK and has a doctorate in English Literature from the University of Oxford.
